This index consists of of two parts. Part 1 lists the texts contained in the Zhonghua Daozang (Taoist Canon of China, published in 2003). Part 2 presents the same texts arranged according to the “base editions” used in the Zhonghua Daozang.

Where applicable, entries provide references to corresponding texts in the Zhengtong Daozang (Taoist Canon of the Zhengtong Reign-Period, ca. 1445). A concordance of Zhengtong Daozang and Zhonghua Daozang texts is also included, making it easy to locate from either canon in the other.
