Awakening to Reality
"The Dragon leaps, the Tiger roars - Wind and waves are rough". These are the words that describe the conjunction of Yin and Yang in Awakening to Reality, one of the most important and best-known Taoist alchemical texts.
Written in the eleventh century, Awakening to Reality (Wuzhen pian) describes in a poetical form several facets of Neidan, or internal alchemy, which is entirely based on the conjunction of the Yin and Yang principles. Read selections from this book.
